OESFD, how is this line?

I don't know that much about cash but...

If we think as villain would here he is likely to think you are drawing and, on this board, will even more likely think you are drawing to a diamond flush.

Because of this a river check looks like a missed flush and he may bet hoping to get a call from a pair worse than whatever he has. It seems to me therefore that check-raising has a greater expectation than betting out.

OESFD is an accepted abbreviation for a straight draw + flush draw - straight flush draws are so rare (and often are effectively the same) that it's not really confusing.

I'd like to build a pot with such a strong draw. I don't mind checking the flop with so many players in, but I probably c/r after it gets HU. As played I lead turn for $4, river for $8.

Why would you check raise the turn all in with $24 behind? Your only ~33% chance to hit your hand on the river and your pushing $24 more for him to call into a $10 pot. Reraising the flop isnt a bad play to disguise your hand, but itd have to be at least $4.5-$5 to move him off his hand, min raising is definately not enough here. Playing out of position though im happy to keep this pot smaller so im check/calling small bet after a call from the flop reraise.

I'd definately be raising that flop to $4. Call on the turn and push on the river.

As played, I'm pushing the river and hoping villain hit his set, although I highly doubt it; however, if he is slow playing a set like like this he's calling.

You'll get called on the river push often enough to make it +EV.

I think your line is good: villain appears weak; prob has an ace no kicker or 9s. Thus, river bet is good.

If you check the river, he puts you on a flush draw, and bets like 2-3 dollars. If- no *when*- you check-raise him, he'd fold immediately, his hand is comically weak.

So lead the river- $3 or $4 might work as a "block bet" farce (maybe u had a flush draw, and fours or some crap) and would induce a call. Nothing more though given his weakness.

$6 is enough to get him to raise his eyebrows but click call anyway. And if he somehow had a set ... (possible but less likely IMO)... you're just getting the money in faster (and you both want that )

Good line, good bet, but I like to lead my OESFD's when flopped, you're usually "ahead" and so getting money in the middle is + expected value. I don't know though, might scare him away. BTW that river couldn't have been better.
