    this might help:
mez is pretty tough play. doesn't get too out of line on later streets but isn't afraid to put you to a decision and can make some big calls.

thetoiler is a weird player and i dont think hes a winner. he can be too aggro sometimes and/or call too much. because of this mez could play alot of hands this way.

    also this might be helpful:
    Dealt to gp333 [Kc 4s]

c/c river could be top two, any two i guess but also a small flush.
If he isnt out of line it could simply be tp/half decent kicker against a missed gusthot of some sort.
I assume he doesnt push river because if he has a small flush nothing worse calls, only better flushes and boats call, and if he ahs tp he gave opp an oppertunity to bet off cash.

Ax (board kicker) for Mez, KT (K spades) for Toliet.

George, your prediction would be what I'd say if this was a hand at say 50NL. At these stakes it could just as easily be TPWK vs a missed draw.

At first glance it looks like Mez flops a decent hand (with like AK) and goes into calldown mode vs a perceived semibluff on the flop. But the problem is, the only conceivable draw (spades) actually got there. If Mez had a stronger hand, like a set or the flushdraw that got there, I would expect him to lead or c/r somewhere, so I rule that out. A5 got counterfeited on the river, so that leaves AT for Mez. So he flopped top two and went into calldown mode on turn/river when the board got scary versus what he hopes to be Ax/air probably.

As for toilet, definately looks like a set line. Or a spade draw, although the river must have spooked him a bit and he still bet big. Or some kind of overplayed weaker hand, dunno. Possibly QJ with one spade.

    I will post results tonight.
Hint: Mez's hand is easier, for toilet you may just want to post a range. reread the posts at the beginning.

I ALREADY POSTED WHAT I HAD
  20. #20
Toilet: Acxc (x being below 9)
    Mez: AxQc
  21. #21
    Results:
Credit those who said QJ for toilet, though he did not have QJ no one could have possibly put him on his actual holdings, Js9.
Mez on the other hand didn't have a lower flush, but an A high flush with As9s.
I felt like it was pretty obvious by the river call that mez had a flush, but toilet was definetely harder. He's repping 555 the entire way, but clearly his range has to be greater than that.
It's harder to put toilet on the flush, though it is possible. TT and AA are not likely as the guy would've raised pre, as well as 88. But what else could toilet concievably have? It's hard not think a bluff is in this guys range.

Anyways, when I watched this hand I was just so confused about what each player had, but as I reviewed the action in the final seconds of the hand I too thought that Toilet had an air bluff (which i thought was QJ) and mez had a low flush.

if the guy is bluffing let him bluff off more cash on the turn, which i guess makes sense with only calling the river, as opp isnt calling a raise anyway if hes behind and only calling with a better hand etc etc
  24. #24
Yeah it's what I would do probably but I figured these guys would be insanely aggressive..

since you can't put toilet on anything, mez's range is so much wider than flush

good point. You really need way more info to really pinpoint each hand. idk why i posted this.

Hey! I guessed KT with the Ks. Thats pretty damn close... both hands would bet the flop and bet the turn about the same frequency.
