    Default Bet the River?

Just sat down, never seen villian before. Do you reraise the river or play it safe and call? Or would you 3 bet the turn? If he had a K high flush I wanted him to think it was good so I didn't want to look very strong there.

Tough call, im thinking i just call, you have half your stack in the pot by just calling on the river. The fact that you have no idea how he plays make me say call instead of raise. Hes giving you better than 4-1 which doesn't look like a bully move to push you off your hand. From the way he played the hand it looks like hes definitely got something either a high flush like you said or hes got a boat. Calling minimises your loss since you cant really fold the nut flush getting 4-1. Hes only calling your reraise on the river if hes got you beat.

wait, why is he c/r'ing the turn? He surely cannot do that with a set.

Does'nt it scream a poorly played Kd?

hummm i guess he can only be raising if he thinks hes blufing/representing a diamond. But if he does have the King high flush what does he put Hero on when he value bets the river if he has the King high flush, he's only beating a floped Q high or less flush. Would hero call a reraise on the turn with a big pair no diamond or less than a king high flush? Then again with the min raise he's giving the big pair/ weak flush the odds to call.

Am I reading way to much into this?

i'm for sure putting in that last 40 bux on the river. if he played a set like that, i am paying it off.
i think more likely he chased or flopped the k high and is too excited about it.
