    Default Another reraised pot w/KK

Villain here is 49/7/3, likes to stack off light TPGK type hands.

    SB ($83)
    Hero ($128.55)
    UTG ($236.90)
    MP ($15.40)
    CO ($87.05)
    Button ($137.70)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K.
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, CO raises to $5, 2 folds, Hero raises to $16, UTG calls $15, CO folds.

    Flop: ($37.50) 7, 9, Q (2 players)

He has less than 1/2-pot behind, I'm just sticking it in here.

edit: OOPS, I misread and thought CO was still in the hand, not UTG. Meh, c/f probably. Tough spot.

There's still like $80 to play for. I usually give up here.. which is probably very exploitable..

I like a check. Not sure if I'm folding or not. What range do you think he's seeing a turn with?

If we're gonna push, and any Q will call our push. What about checking, and hoping a worse hand pushes that wouldn't call our push? Or are there too many draws out there for this play?

I can't really see what draw villain would be on in a re-raised pot. Maybe AJ/A10 diamonds. Can't see much else.

C/C turn, C/C river, he has 24dd, double thru. Oh yea you probably have to fold the riv if a diamond hits as you beat absolute air.

I swear to god I do this alllll the time against donkeys with stats like this... Raise with a strong hand pre, bet flop, wait for scare card to fall on turn and let them represent it. You can't fold specially when villain has an AF of 3, because he WILL represent this queen. Sometimes he will have it sometimes not, just love the variance. I don't even mind a CR all in here against certain villains who will call with a diamond draw, heart draw, or any pair after making a sizeable turn bet, but this is definitely read dependent.

Basically I wouldn't even consider folding against someone with stats like this, sometimes high variance and high EV go hand in hand... Sauce.

Hero has $82 left. I'd do what Saucy said.

board is draw-heavy enough and villain's post-flop aggro factor is high enough that I don't think betting again is terrible.

edit : having seen the turn action I think it's very close. If he's not completely retarded, he's either hoping you DO have a queen to pay off his boat or hoping you DON'T have a queen so you can instafold. Doing this with a made hand that you beat is beyond senseless...
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

That's what I thought too and I'd a folded. I guess everyone else on this forum must get bluffed a ton more than me cuz they call here. If he doesn't have it but wants to see if you really showed weakness, what I often see is a weakish bet, not a shove.
  27. #27
i'd almost expect to see JJ more from this guy than AQ.
