    Default Coaching/Private Lessons options...

I think it might be a good idea for me to hire a coach to iron out some kinks in my game. Lord knows I have some.

My main and really only game is 1/2NL full ring over at Stars.

I am a member at cardrunners and I see that they do have some guys that offer private lessons. Has anyone tried this yet? For my stakes, is their someone over at cardrunners that I should seek help from?

The last couple of months have been a real struggle for me and I need to pick up my game. If anybody knows anyone that is willing to give some lessons (I will pay, of course) please let me know.

Once youve passed 100NL there is nothing a tutor can teach you that you cannot teach yourself and be better off for in the long run. Just my opinion. Watch lots of videos, post lots of hands, read lots of hands, comment on lots of hands. Compare where your comments and thoughts differ from others.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.

    i disagree euph

If i could afford to pay 400 an hour i'd definitely get with stinger on cardrunners. 8 hours of insight from a player like that would probably do wonders for any game.

i agree with renton. i play 200 and 400nl, but i've gotten some help from ftr member genitruc for short handed, and he opened my eyes to a lot for a reasonable price. it's true i prob coulda learned everything we've discussed on my own, but coaching let me learn it faster. anyway i'm not sure if he's still up for coaching now but reccomend sending him a pm.
there's also a list of coaches from 2+2 at http://www.jvelliott.com/poker/coaches.php
