    Default missed opportunity??

opp is MP w/ ~100 BBs, I have same. 50NL FR. opp seems fairly straightforward. is on my 2 tables and has done nothing spectacular on either one.

Opp raises to 3.5BB (standard raise), I reraise to 12BB on the Button w/ QQ, opp calls.

flop comes ATx, w/ 2 diamonds. opp checks, I check.

turn as a random non diamond. opp bets weak (~1/3 pot), I call.

river is a T non diamond. opp checks, I check.

I feel as though I missed a real opportunity to take this pot on the turn or the river. opp was clearly weak and did not want to go far with his hand. Am I wrong here?

this is very situation/opp dependant. did you have any reads on him? w/ no reads i would probly fire the river, but i dont hate the way you played it.

I am thinking I would stab at the pot for about 2/3 on the flop and be ready to dump to any serious resistance. The bet size on that flop should give you more info for what to do on the turn or river.

I always c-bet this flop, b/c with the flush draw and inside straight draws on the board, checking screams "I don't have AK or AA!" I almost always bet the flop after I 3-bet pre-flop. There are some special situations where I won't (think it's likely I'll get c/r'ed, flop a huge monster, villain has a small enough stack that it will only take two streets to get it all-in are a few that come to mind).
