SB is trying to isolate. He does't want anyone else in the hand. Maybe he has AKs but more likely KK. I think it's a fold as you are going to be up aginst players with overcards, possibly overpairs. QQ is a lovely hand, but when you have no info on the other players it might be worthwhile folding this one in order to gather information on your opponents for later on. And even if you do decide to play it, you would then have to re-raise in order to push out the button thereby costing you more money against a player you have no reads on. Fold it, get some info, make som emoney later on.

    No hindsight for the blind.
I'd raise it up to 85-ish and call a shove.

Edit: OMG I wasted my 1000th fukin post.

No reads I flat call and take it from there. It is a button raise so SB could be doing this with more than just AA/KK.

So many ways to play it after that depending on what everyone else does.

Button pushes we fold. Button flat calls preflop, well, we see a flop knowing we're ahead of him at that point.

If SB leads out big on a dry board it's probably not a bluff so you can easily fold. If SB doesn't lead out on a dry board it will look a lot like AK so we're probably good here.

    I like

    -open shoving
-4-betting (and never folding if btn pushes)
    -flat calling

    in that order.

Your open shove will look like AK a LOT so 1010-JJ and sometimes even 99 will look you up.

4-betting is fine just since your hand is so strong in the face of a random Btn raise and a SB 3-bet (if it were UTG raising and UTG+1 3-betting this would be entirely different obv).

Calling isn't terrible. Only thing is you should prob be ready to call a shove from button if he pushes when it gets back around to him since you've underrepped your hand.

Calling here will usually look like 99-QQ so it's a decent option since you'll be at the high end of the range villains will put you on.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
