    I'm a 23/20 now

    soon I wll be a 20/20 I'm afraid

    Is this bad?

    Maybe I'll take a flop once in awhile, and CR it or something.

    i cant see any obvious reason why it woud be bad. We are always telling people w/ 18/8 6max stats to get their PFR closer to thier VP$IP, so i think yours would be ideal.

    Isn't 20/20 good because your raising range is as wide as it could possibly be. When our range is wide, it makes it tougher for our opponents to have any implied odds.


    Edit: If you're going to be 20/20 what are you doing with pp's facing a PF raise?

    I'm sure if you are playing at 20/20, your raises are probably getting 3-bet a lot as well. Are you dumping small pairs to re-raises?

    Yep, 3/b those.

    I rarely if ever receive PMS or get 3/b at least on this particular site. I'll make adjustments accordingly when I do, I suppose.


    edit:I rarely, if ever, complete the SB.

    Yah, I'd imagine you might be losing value from some hands, by re-raising them.

    For example, I'd imagine it could be more +EV to flat call a hand like 22-44 facing an EP raise for set value. Versus re-raising an EP raiser (who has aces) and then being forced to dump the hand pre-flop when he pushes over your 3-bet.

    Yeah i like gabe's idea. I remember when i was experimenting with 3 betting everything. It sucked a lot, you couldn't play poker at all.

    usually people are relatively quick to adjust to your style (and will start 4-betting etc. with wider ranges) as you move up in stakes. People aren't quick in adjusting on the other hand to postflop play, at least not as quickly in my experience.

    But whatever works for you...

    It's a pretty tough style for bad players to adjust to.

    Playing after the flop is so much funner though!
    when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

    i still have periods where i 3 bet everyone when i think time is right but its so much easier to mess with people in raised pots than in reraised pots
