at the time, i was thinking Jx. in fact, if i was villain i'd probably play it the same with a hand like J9 or JT.

HH is a little mangled. BU has stack of $66, so he can only raise ~$24 on the end, so he is giving you 6:1 and the other guy folded.

That makes the call at least close (although I think we all agree that river bet isn't great)

i thought about raising, but then i looked at how many people are in the hand, and i'm basically not cbetting unless i hit, and probably check folding a bad flop. i dunno. raising's probably better overall.

but yeah, when the 2nd 3 came, i was yelling profanity that my neighbours could probably hear me.

so if we're checking here, do we call a small bet? if BTN bet $20 after we check, should we still call?

Are you kidding? that many people limping in the hand is great, always raise in this position with AQs! 4bb + 1 for each limper, it will make em fold or narrow it down to one caller, cbet most flops.
I may be wrong but this could be quite a leak in your game.

probably true. to by honest, i'd rather raise with 65s on the button than raising with AQs in the blinds.
