Some hands from my shot at 25NL

I recently took a small shot at 25NL, I think I am definantly skilled enough to play at this stake but I do not have the roll. 10NL has started to get a little boring so I checked out the 25NL action. I think I played most of these hands pretty well, but if anyone has anymore insight on how I might have played differently I would be really glad to hear it. Sorry HH convertor won't work because I cannot copy and paste (I am running windows on a mac).

I had never seen villain 3-bet in this situation...should I just stick my stack in preflop? Is smooth calling fine here...

Hand 1 - probably AA, but you really can't get away anywhere

Hand 2 - Bet $2, if they fold they fold. I bluff at a lot of paired turns (villains call with the trips, fold otherwise) so I should be betting when I hit also.

Hand 3 - Just fold flop, there isn't any money in the pot. As played fold turn, don't stack off in a limped pot with 2 pair. I would expect villain to have a flush. Most aren't smart enough to realize it's unlikely you flopped a flush.

To mix it up, this is a good spot to raise pre. "raise with the best hands you would normally fold"

Hand 4 - I like. You have a ton of equity. 200bb deep you want the chance at his whole stack.

Now, if he calls and checks a blank turn that's a harder decision

Hand 5 - What are your stats, and are they paying attention at all? You need a good read to slowplay this pre.

Typically just raise. I would expect BTN to have KK and stack off with you pre. If UTG folds a shitty hand that's fine with you.

Hand 6 - I find myself in this situation a lot. Bet turn, calling river becomes read dependent.

Hand 4 you don't have 13 outs, you could have 12,15 or even 18

I raise with all 8+ out draws in position so I like it.

The AA hand just need to be 4bet big, to something like $11. That way you can just shove any flop.

in 1, when they put in $8, they're usually committed to calling a push pre flop, so just push...hope he has AK or QQ.

1. I'd probably get it all-in preflop - he probably got AA but could be AK depending on how aggressive he is and so...

2. I would bet the flop when it's checked to me like that, but as it is now I'd bet and hope someone calls with a draw or the or whatever. Better than letting them draw to a hand that might beat you in my opinion

3. I'm not 100% sure if I would raise the flop here but I guess it's ok and when you hit 2 pair on turn you might as well call the push, I doubt he has the flush but hard without a good read.

4. I like the raise, you got quite a few outs...

5. I'd push and hope for someone to call here, but IMO when you "slowplay" AA like that they always hit 2pair or something stupid like that :P

6. I'd bet the turn here for sure, you still have toppair (not to be overrated but anyway) and now you kinda gave away the advantage of aggression and getting some info out of him and it makes it veeery hard to call the river bet which I would probably fold to.

Hand 1: Stick it all in PF. Oh well if he has AA, lots of players stack off with JJ-QQ at 25NL, in the long run its profitable unless stacks are very deep and your know opponent is tight and a reg. As played, its fine.

Hand 2: I bet half pot here, either someone will have a hand to build pot or they won't.

Hand 3: This is fine, shorties do crazy stuff and if he had a flush oh well. Most of the time shorty calls like this are profitable with even TPGK but you have 2p and its a must call.

Hand4: I like it because villain could have easily missed and you have outs to take a bit pot if your draw hits. Unless he hit 2p or you have been caught being aggro with zip at a showdown, he may just call even with AQ. I think $3.50 accomplishes the same thing though without scaring away an AK/AJ etc.

Hand 5: no, never just smooth call, raise. Get used to people folding with AA in your hand. Gotta bet your good hands to build a pot...and if he did wake up with a good hand, he may re-raise you Kings will go all in, sometimes Queens or even jacks. $3.25 PF is a huge bet at 25nl, he should call a raise to $8 almost every time without scaring too many people

Hand 6: I like a full pot bet. Why are you checking turn? Must bet again, full pot here. Your hand is not likely to hold till the river. If you are checking a deuce, its for a re-raise, even then I think its best to lead. River, check/call is ok

Hand 2 - with position I bet the flop once it is checked to me and definitely the turn when I hit trips
Hand 3 - looks pretty good marginal but I call
Hand 4 - Raise preflop
-The agressive boys like the flop raise probably, but if you're not rolled for 25nl you can take the less variance opition of calling and hope he pays you off when you hit - I still do that and I think you only have 12 clean outs
Hand 5 - reraising really gives away your hand but at 25Nl who cares they'll call but rather reraise to 10-13$ I think
