Default JJ hand in a 5.50.

Tough hand in a 5.50 SNG on stars.
What should I have done differently?
No reads on UTG other than being a 5.50 donk.

Just being a nit, but your flop bet was a tad smallish. I would put in a pot sized bet here.

On the river getting over 3 to 1 is tough to laydown, but I think with the action behind I would have sucked it up and folded. What could we beat that villian (even a donk)could have and would warrent checking to the river then betting the river? Hands like A8, 66, (donkishly played) 77, and a few others come to mind.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

What about the turn? Is it right to make a big bet to push out draws like here, or to check behind and try to see showdown cheaply?
Just dipping my toes back in.
