Default Hidden straight. Check to induce or bet?

Somewhat rocky FT 50NL table. I've been stealing MP's blinds a fair bit with not much and taking down pots with smallball stabs in and out of position. Not much reraising going on so my UTG raising range is getting wide.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP ($101.85)
    Button ($55.25)
    SB ($46.25)
    BB ($49.85)
    Hero ($74.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T, Q.
Hero raises to $1.75, MP calls $1.75, 2 folds, BB calls $1.25.

    Flop: ($5.50) J, 9, 6 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.5, MP raises to $12, BB calls $12, Hero calls $8.50.

    Turn: ($41.50) 8 (3 players)
    BB checks, Hero ???

i'd probably lead like $25 because it looks like a blocking bet.

IMO this advice is close to horrible (okay im exaggerating).

But it isn't correct. BB is sandwiched between us and MP, MP is almost always betting and we'll get more money from BB this way. Anyways, looks like BB has a draw so better for us.
