    Default Blinds vs Your Money

Blinds vs. your money. Is there a time when you should change the way you are playing in a tourney when the blinds are raising and your money is staying the same. For instance, say bb10x your money?

Absolutely! As the blinds get bigger and bigger relative to your stack, you need to start playing more and more aggressively - you can't sit back and wait for good cards as you can early in the tourney when the blinds are small. In fact, once your stack is ~10x your stack (and in some cases 13x) your only move is to go all-in preflop if you want to play.

Learn about M zones. Harington vol 2.

If you still need help there is a program the tells you your opps and your mzone at all times along with odds for calling all ins.

The fact that the blinds go up should definatly change your play. There are certain thresh hold you really have to try to not let your self get below. As the blinds increase your chips basicly decrease.

Tournement are about phases and each phase requires diffrent styles. Just remeber this, getting to the middle of a tour with average or slightly above avrg chips is not an accomplishment. A trained monkey could do it. Just play good hands be patient. If your going to winn you have to take your game far beyond that. Who ever steals the blinds in the mid and late stages, with the most effency, most likly will have the best shot to win the final table.
