Fold. You're behind his range and drawing to 2 outs. I don't think he plays AK this way.

I usually 3-bet this preflop. Easy fold on flop.

Anybody like a shove, if we think villain is capable of folding?

I like the call and not a 4 preflop. And it's a good fold on the flop vs a guy you think is weak/tight

What do you think you're making him fold? If you know he'll fold JJ+ then by all means.

3bet preflop. when you play it like you did preflop your basically playing it for a set.

He would be 4-betting preflop. Playing TT for a set isn't bad when you're being crushed by BB's range, you have position, and there is a 3rd person in the pot.
  12. #12
no, go back and look at the action. he calls a bet preflop before the BB even gets to act. he should have 3bet there first.
  13. #13
blind = first bet, mp raise = 2nd bet, bb raise = 3rd bet
  14. #14
hero is CO and calls between the MP1s opening raise and BBs eventual 3bet
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

    lol?????????????????????????

hero called mp's raise before the bb even acted.....................................

Ok let me ask you this, say it folds to you on the button and you make it $1.50. Then the small blind raises to $6 and BB folds. Did you just get 2-bet or 3-bet?
  17. #17
lol you have to be fucking leveling me now. just go back and reread the fucking op instead of thinking that we dont know what a 3bet is.

"1 fold, MP raises to $1.5, Hero calls $1.50, 2 folds, BB raises to $6, MP calls $4, Hero calls $4. "

HERO CALLS MP'S RAISE. HERO COULD HAVE 3BET THERE. THE BB DIDNT EVEN ACT YET. WOW.
  18. #18
Ah ok, I just reread your first post. I thought you were telling him to raise BB's bet, not the initial bet. We are both right.

I instafold. Whilst he could have AK, we're behind his range. I personally like a 3bet pre.

I doubt he is pushing AK into two people, unless it is AKh.

Folding is prudent. If I'm going to continue then I would call and take it away if he checks the turn.

If I accidentally bumped my mouse and called this bet and the villain dropped his mouse and accidentally checked turn, I'd be inclined to check behind.

Would the bet be to steal or just hurry up and end the hand now because the pot is big and the villain appears to have missed? The "take it away" part got me a little off there

Or maybe we're floating and using our hand as air (that beats villain according to him)? Just a thought.

Possibly but I wouldn't to try and take it away from someone who reraised preflop from OOP and fired into 2 opponents and has less than a PSB stack. If so that would be one hell of a steal!
