    Default Automatic Sign In

    On my home computer I have the setting to automatically sign me in, yet sometimes I come here and it has me not logged in. All of my other usernames for facebook and my email and shit are still there, so I don't think its a problem on my end.

    Anyone else having this/have a solution for this?

    I've been having this problem recently. Haven't figured out a cause or solution yet.

    Also, you guys probably have some "cookie" problem. Check your browser cookies. I'm always logged in, even though I don't want to.

    Is FTR's cookie set to expire sooner than most other sites? I notice I have to log in here more frequently than other forums I have login cookies saved for. Still, it's only once a week or so... nothing at the frequency at which other posters are reporting.

    This happens to me too. The thing that really bugs me about it isn't so much having to sign in all the time rather that once I sign in any new topics aren't highlighted, everything looks like it has already been read.

    It's been happening to me, too.

    When I log in I can't tell which posts are old/new by the color of the spade, either, as all of them appear to be old posts even though many of them were written since my last visit...

    I've gotten around this problem by just leaving FTR open in one of my tabs all day. My wife likes to reboot our PC at night so when she does that I have to log in again...

    It's not a huge deal, just kinda weird.

    been happening to me too, but I thought it was because I was using free internet while on vacation? Using WiFi?
