Default 5/10 two hands vs. possible maniac

I only have 65 hands on villain and I've only been at the table 3 orbits, but he's very loose pre-flop (running 64/9) and seems to be trying to win every pot post-flop. Haven't seen him showdown anything crazy, but he's check/min-raised a couple of times and overbet the pot when checked to a couple of times. I wasn't around when he doubled up, but he's won a few small pots recently.

    1. I c-bet b/c I think he's definitely capable of calling with worse. Bad? Call of the c/r bad? Give up this terrible turn?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Holdem Ring game - Blinds: $5/$10 - 6 players - Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $1000
    Hero: $1070
    CO: $2892
    Button: $985
    SB: $990
    BB: $2615.25

    Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with K K
UTG folds, Hero raises to $35, 3 folds, BB calls.

    Flop: A 8 2 ($75, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $55, BB raises to $110, Hero calls.

    Turn: 7 ($295, 2 players)
    BB bets $270, Hero...

    2. Two hands later. I've seen him open-limp QQ from the button so he could have almost anything here. Should I look him up here or wait until the board isn't so scary and I've actually seen him overbet with air? Lead river better maybe?

It's pretty hard to discuss theoretically correct play against someone who is clearly playing loosing poker. In these situations I just play solid and charge him for his mistakes.

I never let a loose villain turn me into a calling station. I just put a bit more weight on the possibility of a bluff. I would fold both hands, but calling hand nr2 is certainly not very bad.

C/C turn in hand 2 seems slightly better.

    1. If he's not going to call three barrels with worse than an Ace, which I assume is the case, I check behind the flop. Our hand has two streets of value at best and if we check we may get air to do something stupid, as well as it provides pot control. As played you have to fold IMO.
    2. Played it fine now fold.

Well I guess if he calls more with a bet/check/bet line (but that is so thin and check/bet/bet seems to not be as thin) then we could bet but for pot control reasons i like a check better.

hand 1 u kind of have to fold flop as played
checking behind is ok i guess tho its significantly better with the Kc

hand 2- just muck river and checking turn is fine also
