    Default NL25 - flopped TPTK+nutFD, deepstack

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed)

    CO ($61.85)
    Button ($7.55)
    SB ($37.80)
    BB ($25)
    Hero ($57.50)
    MP ($12.95)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Jd Ah
Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, CO calls $1, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($2.35) 2h 6h Jh (2 players)
Hero bets $1.75, CO raises to $5.25, Hero ?

whats the right move and plan for future streets with that 200+bb eff.stacksizes?

hmmm. I dont like another raise because youre so deep and youre either going to be faced with a push you cant call, or hell call and the turn will blank and youll be potfucked.

I dont like calling to see a turn because unless you hit your flush you still wont know where you are and if you do you wont get action.

I think I just fold this so deep against an unknown but it feels weak.

!??!?!?!?! If you fold, I will personally find you and kick you in the balls.

You have to make your moves on this flop, if you miss the turn your equity drops like a stone. So 3bet and cry call a shove, and start saying your hail mary's.

Youre 50/50 with two pair but its doubtful he has 62. You're also 50/50 if he has an overpair but thats doubtful as well.

You're 70/30 behind sets like 66, but youre miles ahead of pretty much everything else. And you just can't put him on a set simply because he called pre and raised on the flop. So 3bet his ass.

Calling the flop is a mistake.

I think we need to call this flop. 3betting is going to fold out nearly all of the hands we are ahead of and build a huge pot where when it ges to that size, it is unlikely we are ahead. It sucks being OOP, but I think that simply calling is our most profitable play. Our hand has too much value to fold, but if we put in another raise we are narrowing our opponents range to be heavily weighted towards hands we are behind.

Ok so we call. Turn is a non-board pairing, non-heart. Whats our plan?

I think I would most likely bet/fold most turns except if we hit the heart

I would fold and Pelion explained why.

surely if the hand ended right now it'd be pretty lol but we need a plan for later streets and calling with a transparant draw w/o odds is retarded.

1,2. Leading out is too committing, C/C or C/F depending on how big villian goes. 1 pair hands don't like big pots...
    3. Impossible. Any heart on the turn CANNOT pair the board. DUCY?
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

i think you have to put in another bet on this flop. TPTK + FD is a pretty big hand here. Calling seems too transparent and i 4th heart is going to kill most action on the turn except for maybe the Kh. I think im w/ eupho on 3-betting and cry calling a push.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

What is our opponents range after his raise? What hands will he continue with after we 3bet?

In general, I push this hand hard at this level without any reads. If you know villain is a solid reg, then I raise and would prob fold to any rr or heavy river action unless you hit your flush.

god I totally missed this, fold PF plz.

As for the hand, there's nothing wrong with calling here being so deep, we don't always have to be aggro-tards

AJo is a pretty standard open raise from any position for me. Is that not standard?

only if you enjoy being in these spots....

Let me give some reasoning I guess, the only value of AJo UTG is if your opponents are frequently calling you with much worse to give you an edge in equity because most of the time you will be playing OOP in a raised pot with a hand with very little sd value.

I raise AJ os from any position in SH, not in FR.

Ive begun folding AJo and KQo UTG and its basically taken me from break even player to winner, along with some other things.

So you enjoy having massive RIO w/a transparant draw?
