that line is pretty good. if he's really bad why not bet more like 20-22?

i d bet about 1.3x pot or something as a general tendancy, sometimes cr ai, sometimes shove with an overpair vs a joker. "Pretty bad" villains are the type it's fun to overbet against. they just don t learn that QJ is no good.

in this situation a check raise seems particularly good since his range is probably something like busted str8 and flushdraws and medium strength Q's which will likely value bet or bluff when checked to. The Q's might then feel commited once you shove.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

i'd bet 9.50 on the turn probably but that's pretty moot. I agree 20 on the river.

    So, jokers aren't wild here?

Seriously, I think we can get the same action with a pot size bet, as with a 2/3 bet here. I go $29-30.

I have a question though, what if anything does our betsizing say about our hand here? It says value bet right?

I don't like checking here unless we have a read that he'll bet. A lot of fish with a queen don't in this spot. Bet $20
