so, I just finished calling a small flop bet with a gutshot draw with a number of people in the hand, and hitting it and taking a fairly large pot. a couple of people commented about how bad I am.

opp in this hand has taken a few hands too far. He has called flop and turn bets only to fold to the river bet on fairly drawless boards.

comments on bet sizing pf and on flop, as well as what do you do on the turn?

Pot flop, pot turn, push river

Overbet/Push turn is good too with A

I like your pf bet size you got a lot in and still got called and you achieve a stack to pot ratio of 6 on the flop with an overpair against a loose opponent. That's good enough to commit to the hand I think. Your flop bet puts 1/3 the effective stack in tying you both to the hand which is what you want. On the turn it depends on how aggressive he is, you could check to induce a bet then call or push or you could just lead for 2/3 and get the last of it in on the river or call a push. Since he calls too much I'd lead the turn 1/2 - 2/3 pot. I wouldn't fold.

push turn. villain has only has $80ish left w/ a $70 pot. Any other bet leaves a stupid sized push on the river.

Since it looks a lot like villain is holding a big overpair, I would bet 1/2 pot and see what he does. Of course, I call any push and also felt the river no matter what card falls. Looks like KK , QQ or JJ to me so you don't need to be afraid of the flush. If you push the turn, you will mostly be called by hands that have you beat and hands that might have called a reasonable bet would fold. As such, I think you lose value by overbetting the turn here...

I pushed turn, but was worried that I would be pushing out a lot of hands that I had crushed, and would only be called by hands that I was behind.

I hadn't thought about what I was going to do on the turn because I was pretty certain that he was going to fold on the flop.
