Weaksauce. Make it 2/3 - 3/4 pot bets. I wouldn't make that river call. If he has something like AT he played it real screwy.

Bet more on flop/fold river. People are straightforward at the $25 and are not bluff raising this river often enough to justify making a call.

bigger bets on flop and turn, half pot on river is fine. but, when you get raised over, you are beat here. fold to raise.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

I thought about the call for a while with time almost expiring. I was staring at his poker tracker numbers with high vpip, pfr, and aggression. It was clear from the numbers he likes to bluff. I don't have much to go by from his previous play as I wasn't paying enough attention to the table. But, overall, he just didn't have me convinced that he had me beat. QQ, KK, AA this guy is going to raise me preflop or at least raise flop. So those hands where out.

I couldn't figure out why he didn't raise at least the turn. If he flopped a set then with my $5 bet on turn it would be a perfect spot to raise. As far as the river I knew if I checked he'd come out big anyway if he was bluffing since he would have sensed weakness.

He could have been playing AT diamonds and then his play would make more sense. I could see not raising the turn when the flush hits. But that's one scenario that didn't cross my mind.

...or AdKd or Ad,Qd or Kd,Qd or TT or 44 or 55

You are beat on river - FOLD.

A small overpair against on a paired, flushy board should not be calling river raises - EVER!
    pocket Jacks eh?

I like betting every street, including the river blocking bet. Bet more on every street. Very few 25NL players are good enough to bluff raise a river so fold.

    Check the turn
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

If you have seen him bluff alot, like raising multiple rivers just like that, call. Also call if you've seen him overvaluing 1-pair hands, like TPTK. Also call if you've seen him abuse fold equity earlier.
If he's been playing normally, or you don't have enough data on him, fold. overpair is usually not good here (unless villain is a chronic moronic bluffer, and decided to do a 3 stage call-bluff here)
