    Default Top Two nasty

so this was gross from the start. i limp in from the sb then lead out the flop with a minbet. i guess i thought i could induce a raise with a minbet on the flop but also there weren't any raises preflop so i figured i'm dealing with some weak hands out there...maybe a Kx or Tx...either way the turn play became interesting...should i call his 4bet, push, or consider the hands that beat me, sets, and lay it down??

Bet pot on the flop. As played go allin. At these stakes, people will be happy to call a minbet to chase their draws so don't do it.

Get it all in especially against an unknown at these stakes. Oh and your bet/raise sizes on almost every street are bad. Bet more on the flop, raise more on the turn.

the dude only has 40 big blinds and you have top two pair, with no straight or flush possible

    bet more on flop

can we put aside my terrible betting and talk about what he could be playing here on the turn. i mean he 4 bet basically all-in. and he acted quickly. i was definitely thinking he could be holding 77 for the set. but i didn't think i could lay it down

Yeah you can't lay that down because he's so short, and let's talk about how he could be just donking off, which isn't that rare at 10 NL.

This is a worse two pair a lot. T7/K7 no goot.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

so anyways. i got it in, which for him basically just meant calling his 4 bet on the turn. the river is a rag and he shows 77 for the set of sevens. the way he acted so quickly with the re-raise and 4 bet on the turn i figured he hit his set, but as played i didn't think i could fold there.
