    Default Which books next

posting for feedback then you can move to tools. I just want to make sure some see it.

What books next? I read NLHE T&P and TOP several times. I have read SSHE and Super System. I have heard the Ace on the river in MP3. I have read HOH 1 and 2. I play ring.

I just ordered "The Poker Mind Set" by Hilger
I'm thinking maybe "The Psychology of poker" by Alan Schoonmaker
and also "The Mathematics of Poker" by Chen and Ankenman?
Haven't heard a lot of good from the "Professional NL HE" crowd? Thoughts?

I am certainly looking for another type of book, less play and more thought. I am sure the Poker mindset will be this kind of book, but what of the others?

Just ordered it myself. Even though the book is theoretical, for some reason NL crowd doesn't seem to be much interested, while Limit HSLHE 2p2-ers call it: "the ultimate", "illegal amount of math", "limit is solved" ...
If you order it (advice to both of us): 'Good luck deciphering!'

... gets a lot of love. General consensus (2+2 again) is that NLTAP is more abstract and general, while PNL is very practical and applicable.

EDIT: There are rumours Harrington is about to make ring cash book

I think PNL is brilliant, has ideas I'd never even heard anywhere else before. I still struggle to apply it though
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

Ok so I ordered "Mathematics" as well as "The Poker Mind Set". Hadn't realized Stars doesn't have the PNL book. I may need to get to Chapters then for that.
