    Default What the eff?

Villain is 30/20/4 after 60 hands. Sadly i haven't seen any of his hands.

My image is standard TAGG, we have no history.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($194)
    UTG ($209)
    Hero ($199)
    Button ($440.35)
    SB ($259.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8, A.
1 fold, Hero raises to $6, Button calls $6, 2 folds.

    Flop: ($15) 6, 8, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $10, Button calls $10.

    Turn: ($35) J (2 players)
Hero bets $24, Button calls $24.

    River: ($83) T (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $400.35 (All-In), Hero ??????????????????

Shove is essentially 2x the pot because of my stack size.

why are you raising this anyway pf? Iwould probably check/fold the turn. What is your reasoning for second barreling here? as played the river is an easy fold, he probably has the nuts here ( 9hQh?). I dont think 30/20 risk a whole stack on a river in a " small" pot

are you really thinking about calling this?

    TT?

Well I do think it does look very fishy,

1)A flopped straight or set would usually let you know by at least doing something by the turn and if it was one of these why not make a reasonable value bet instead of shoving river 2x pot whenyou've clearly showed weakness? That line doesnt make any sense...

    2) I also dont see any drawing hands that are calling flop & or turn
    - a big stretch for Q9h - & if it is why shove river?

3)TT is also unlikely as he's aggressive enough to 3bet pre or raise it on that flop

It just looks incredibly bluffy but I still couldn't call with A8

    Oh yeah, 3bet pre, duhh..

I don't think he'd raise flop with it though, it's a nice spot to call down.

I think this is definitely a fold, you could easily have an overpair.

cmon guys, we are betting AT and AJ and 99 on this river so we bet a8
  12. #12
as played i think it s an ez fold

betting a missed draw here is oh so transparent on his part

maybe that s one level too deep though
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Yeah betting doesn't seem too thin here i agree with gabe. Although sometimes he's going to show up with better, but that's the definition of thin.

Overshoving the river shows tremendous strength imo. I just don't see how he has that strength, besides Q9 and 97, maybe 74.

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
I would easily bet this river for value. As played, call and lose to T7o.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
