Villain is 21/16/2.7, 3-bets light, he's at a bunch of my tables. I 4-bet one of his 3-bets earlier and he folded. I have no doubt he'd 3-bet AA, KK, and AK everytime and he seems decent. Turn bet is with the intention of doing this on a blank river.

hand 1: fold i guess, im kinda assuming he played an ace or KQ kind of thing passively but it is kinda wtf.
hand 2: why would you do anything besides bet?
hand 3: i think i would rather just pot it.

Hand 2: I check here with the intention of calling/betting most blank turns

Hand 3: Only good if opposition knows that you can do this as a bluff and with the nuts. I would have checked the turn.

i was thinking of raising on hand 1 but i doubt he'd give me credit, If he plays 1kNL he's probably pretty smart

Hand 1). I don't see any hands he does this for value with that you beat. He probably has A-x but you can't really rep a flush so i'd fold.

Hand 2). we can bet the flop to charge the loose passives to draw, and fold if raised. If you had A-10 i'd pot the flop and stick it in on a non spade turn vs MP, but here i'd probably just bet $58 or so and then try to check the hand down. It's not like the LP's are going to take the pot away on the turn with a draw. I can't imagine the aggressive player putting us to a difficult decision on the turn since he's probably raising with draws/made hands.

Hand 3). I love overbets, and this seems like a great spot to do one. It seems like with 6-6 he would raise the flop/turn, but you know if he's really good and knows your good this is a great way to play 6-6. However, i think he's probably floating A-x enough of the time that this is still probably good.

I'm starting to realize that they are not worth it in most situations. However, i think this an exception, because we don't have much history and my image isn't spewy in his eyes, so he's most likely going to give me credit for the overbet and will have to give up.

But against most people who have seen me make very aggressive plays in one form or another overbetting probably isn't the best of plays.

Hand 1 - I like a fold as played but I don't know if I'm qualified to comment on hands vs. 1KNL regs. What were you hoping to accomplish with the turn bet - do you think he calls with a lot of worse hands, or were you hoping to induce a spewy play which you're now going to fold to?

3. dont see the point, if hes calling the turn w/ a made hand then usually hes calilng the river. obviously you have better FE betting so damn much but it definitely isnt worth it since you dont really have that much fold equity concerning how the hand went down.
