    Default stuuuupid overbets, 2/5

These are two hands I've had with villain in the last like 5 minutes. The second hand is mostly the hand in question, but comments on the first are welcome.

-He has check/raised me to 65 on practically all of my continuation bets in hands with him today (the second hand is like the fourth time in a row)
-he is running 26/14/2 over only 150 hands though

First hand before hand in question:
-I thought about 3-betting this flop, but decided to just flat call since no better hands were folding I didn't think, though my equity is still strong anyhow

    Stack sizes:
    Hero: $1092.50
    Button: $1502
    SB: $497.50
    BB: $419.45

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with
Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, BB calls.

    Flop: ($42, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $30, BB raises to $65, Hero calls $35 (pot was $137).

    Turn: ($172, 2 players)
    BB bets $65, Hero raises all-in $1007.5, BB calls all-in $269.45.
Uncalled bets: $673.05 returned to Hero.

    River: ($840.9, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $840.9)

    Results:
    Final pot: $840.9
    Hero shows Ah Th
    BB shows Kh Qh

    Hand in question:
-once again, a turn raise is definitely possible but I don't think any two pairs/sets are folding so I wanted to keep worse hands in and backdoor the flush. bad play?

flop is a raise he's doing this so much that you're obv ahead here right?

i dont see the point in pushing turn, we just give him value if he's hit a sweet hand, just call i think our range that hits is disguised well cons♠idering your back-and-forth history you could just be calling out on a cleveland steamer. I think his C/R line is all about gettin overbets on turn/river cuz hes doing it with a HUGE range so we have to tighten our pushing range but INCREASE our flop raising range to counter

Hand 2 we're ahead and floats blow so $200 raise
as played you are lost on river and I fold. its PLZ PAY bet, not a "DEWD I HAVE AJ" bet. (IMO)

on a sidenote I think you basically crush villain by tightening up PF then re-raising all his flop raises

Damn, fella, push against this dude on a street where you have both a good hand and great odds! I think I'm felting both flops, certainly the first, and in the second, if I haven't pushed the flop I am definitely pushing the turn. It just seems like you're making a fantastic hand, full of every kind of equity, into a horrible and tricky situation.

yah I agree, though I prefer a 3-bet in hand 1 more than hand 2. He had been c/r me so liberally though that I didn't want to blow him off his hand, hence my slower play. But yes a flop 3-bet is good in hand 1.

hand 2- I dont mind not raising this turn. I really do think this is a wa/wb spot, and if I'm wa he's folding and if I'm wb he's not, to a turn raise. note - If I thought he was a calling station/donk I would for SURE raise this turn and expect worse aces to call, but I'm not sure thats the case here.

I really want to call hand 2 based on the "why" of the bet but its so hard to put him on a hand he does this with besides air. BUT im a fish so I call because i think he decided that if you call the turn you can't call a river overbet, which is a pretty easy conclusion to make. It just doesn't make any sense not to make a pot sized bet here for him for obvious value.
