    Default AA 25NL

Villain has been spewing chips all over the place since I sat down - running at 41/12/4.7. I had 3 bet his last 3 raises to isolate with AJs type hands and took them down on the flop all three times. This is my 4th 3-bet in quick succession. How do I approach the flop, I think bet sizing is key.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($54.80)
    UTG ($9.80)
    Button ($25)
    SB ($34.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, A.
2 folds, SB raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, SB raises to $10.5, Hero calls $7.50.

    Flop: ($21) 3, J, 8 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero bets X?

You have huge pot built, you pay off 3 combos off JJ vs 12 more likely combos of KK/QQ. Don't make silly things on that board like checking behind to trap or bet/fold fearing JJ.

Put him all-in, with around a pot behind there is actually the only way to play it. Alternatively you can stick it in by putting two chunks on flop and turn but it actually makes a little difference because any reasonable bet is a sure commitment.

If you want to be consistent, metagame ok and such, bet half pot (it's pretty much committing).. but it might be ok here to even check the flop since turn+river will be enough to get it in.

I would bet halfpot to induce an allin raise. I definietely stick it in on the turn if he calls flop.

I just shove PF, how many ppl do you see 4bet/fold?

Why the hell does he check that board after 4 betting pre lol? Is it the 'OMG A MONSTER STOP BETTING' syndrome?

I'd bet $15 and let him put his last $10 in himself or push river if he doesnt oblige.

He could be sick of the hero 3betting him light and 4bet light back at Hero with a whiffed Axs. That is who 4bet/folds. You need to allow him to hang himself. I bet $11 and hope villain CR pushes over me. Obviously I'm seeing show down with all my money in here.

Even then i think he still calls a shove pf because he's essentially already committed himself to the pot. I don't think you see a 4 bet fold at 25nl. Just get it in preflop don't let him get away on the flop, 5 bet shove.

you would be grossly surprised at how many times i have seen it happen to me where i shove over a 4 bet for like literally 2x and they fold.

but yeah pretty much i would c-bet like 14 and snap call shove. I think a shove isnt a good move, because he probably isnt c/c a shove if he was donk 4 betting.

awesome, then we need to shove 5bet more, sounds grossly profitable.

re: silly string, that's when 5betting is great! it's going to allow us to pwn him from now on cuz he'll be scared and just play straight-forward.

Remember, in NL we don't want our opponents to be the aggressors.

Once he puts a third of his stack in I think I shove here pf everytime.

    I can only LOL here.

The point of this hand is I think he is playing back. What amount can I bet on the flop where worse hands will call or push. I don't want to push the flop as only AJ/QQ/KK or sets are calling. I think his range is a whole lot wider than that.

Nevermind, I mis-read your earlier post. I thought you said who 4bets and then folds the flop. . .
    obviously Axs is committed here.

Trapping is really bad here, because:

You pressured villain off several hands before.
You got into him into preflop pissing contest
He's probably tilting and thinks you're FOS.
His range is wider, than big PP's/big overs.
He could hit piece of board and hope you got spewy with AK
If he has a piece of it, then giving him cheap 5-outer then paying it off like slot machine is worst blunder in poker.

Bomb it, you'll can get many absurd calls in that spot.
