    Default What. The. Fuck.

I'm really beginning to despise Full Tilt. Weird ass shit like this happens more than you'd think. Villian is like 30/7/2 over 100 hands or something. I feel like I'm playing 6max or 3/6 and I have no fucking clue whats going on in hands like this from hard to read random donks.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($200)
    UTG ($324.70)
    UTG+1 ($200.60)
    MP1 ($38)
    Hero ($297.05)
    MP3 ($200)
    CO ($193)
    Button ($280.65)
    SB ($198)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J, J.
UTG calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $9, 4 folds, UTG calls $7.

    Flop: ($21) 6, 7, 3 (3 players)
UTG bets $30, Hero calls $30.

    Turn: ($81) 3 (3 players)
    UTG bets $145

    What

    The

    Fuck

Re-think buy-in size? If you're having trouble reading people then you can turn hands like this into an easy felt.

Maybe. I don't think so, though. I still do well full stacking. There's just more weird play at FT than PS, and it's frustrating since I've been running poorly since I moved there and I'm not able to see many showdowns and figure out what they have. Tempted to return to PS.

Stupid shit like this. Villian is like 30/2 low af. How the hell does he ever ever have a bluff here? C'mon

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG+1 ($174.60)
    MP1 ($191.70)
    MP2 ($146.40)
    MP3 ($279.90)
    Hero ($233.70)
    Button ($59.70)
    SB ($37.25)
    BB ($107.90)
    UTG ($200)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8, 9.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls $2, 3 folds, Hero raises to $9, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $7.

    Flop: ($21) 4, 6, 9 (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets $21, Hero calls $21.

    Turn: ($63) 8 (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets $63, Hero raises to $203.7 (All-In), UTG+1 folds.

    Final Pot: $48.30

Just so many fucking donk bets and pot bets on FT. No fucking clue what to make of them. Not that many posters here on FT. Probably due to the riggedness I'm sure.

If I'm ever in charge of a poker site, it will NOT have a bet pot button.

I've often wondered if the inclusion of bet-pot buttons has been purposeful -- beyond the "players might find that useful". It helps the fish play correctly, and therefore helps them stay afloat longer. This is good for the site, bad for the sharks.

Of course, at some point anything that keeps a poker site running and stocked full of fish is good for the sharks too.

    Just something I've found interesting.

Bet pot buttons allow the site to max rake at the lower stakes. The bad players use it too often and Pots are larger, and yes it helps the fish not play better, but play tougher.

Could you explain this further to dispel my paranoia after multiple suck-outs?!? (some of them I've liked a lot though!)

Horray for bet sizing mistakes and having money behind when you want to.

A 30/7 playing like that is usually a fish. I see this play all the time.

I think it's a call because the 'out of the blue' overbet looks more like desperation than it does strength.

Well, I feel pretty stupid for having folded. Which I guess is okay since I've never ever seen this type of thing before.
