I'd rather bet something like $50 for thin value and induce a shove.

I don't think this is thin value.. because I don't think you can get value here with this size of bet.

There aren't many hands on this river that can call a push that we beat.

Thin value would be betting like half pot so worse hands CAN call. Why bet pot when you can just bet half pot and get a lot more calls by worse hands?

I'd bet half pot or check through here I think. Pot size bet is too big I think and sized such that we only get called when we're beat.

From your thread title you think you're shoving for value here? WTF? I think this guy has missed overs or a missed diamond draw.

guess i m just taking it a little 2 far

i really couldn't put villain on a hand except something like J8 and thought that pushing would look bluffy

betting like 40 is so fking obvious...

I just check, I don't see what you're getting value from here that raises utg and doesn't c-bet this flop.

Maybe I'm too nitty but I would just check the the river.

when I can't think of a hand villain has that beats mine I bet

vs ppl who seem like they might give themselves a good reason to call (i.e. super laggy villain raising a ton of hands who plays his hand passively postflop inviting me to bluff) I like to dare them to make big calls.

btw if I bet for value can I fold to a CR shove?
