Pretty tight UTG+1 raises preflop 4bb, I pop it up to 12bb and he calls, Everyone else folds. I dont know if this guy calls reraises with low PPs this deep but alot of people at these stakes do.

What's your image? Game flow is very important in this spot. If you have been 3betting a lot etc. Also you left out what pos youre in but I assume youre CO or BTN. Anyway I'll assume you have a tough/tag image and your opponent is in dread. Still he calls OOP. WARNING BELL! - this means his range is exactly TT+. Most of the time he'd 4bet shove with {AK,rags} if he respects your game and doesn't want to play that OOP.

You have two choices here either to just open fold (if your site has this option) or shove. If you shove it's going to be as a bluff to fold out QQ+, youll be representing {JJ} and he has no choice but to lay anything that isnt the nuts down, esp since you mentioned he's tight. If he has TT he might call but probably not. There are the occasional fish at these levels though so he might actually call with AA. GL.

Actually I like the 3bet but you should probably polarize it to something like {QQ+,AK,72o,55,99,32o,J4s,J4o,QTo,QTs,AJs,Ah3d} and maybe 5s7d

Btw if your 3bet sizing is way off it should be either to 8bb or to 45bb since you want to discourage action, or encourage action.

Dont go broke with one pair against a tight player like this
you said you dont have hud but I know this player he runs at about 18/17 and he never gets it in bad he reads hands really well which is why you should rep JJ here

btw use better table selection where you dont have a bad seat vs a aggro tight player like this (his att to steal is pretty high and its gonna be a mess defending your blinds like every orbit)
if you want to 3bet him light be ready to back your play up with your stack

youre right this is a very interesting spot Im still not done with the theory Im trying to do the math parts now. But with the pot odds here we need about 97% equity to break even on our shove and his range is effectively TT,JJ,AA,KK so we're a bit short, but since hell fold everything but JJ I think you should still shove it also balances your range well and makes you tougher to play against (maybe he'll be the one that leaves instead)

Once again I've changed my mind. This is a clear fold. People are way too dumb even up here to fold TT and sometimes when theyre tilted theyll call off with KK and AA too. Make a disciplined fold, it sucks when you have to do it but thats what seperates the good from the great I guess.
