If I can do all that I should be able to play 20hours a week and concierge all my expenses like rent and food (I live on the cheap) Pretty optimistic goal but we will see what I can do.

Just had one of the sickest sessions ever, kept hitting sets on the flop, and people would hit with there flush or straight on river and I would make my boat.

Made about 4 buyins in an hour about 500 hands. Was pretty awesome.

Good day played two hour long sessions not fantastic but played good abc poker didn't force anything real happy. I did shove 3bet shove AA on dry board for stacks tho when I coulda got away vs a set and spent the rest of the session getting to break even then made a few nice hands at the end.

Also deep in a $1 6max tourney at one point only had M of 2 but hit a nice little run to get an M of 10, 40 of50 right now almost 2000 people entered first place is pretty nice. So might get a nice little boost if I get a bit deeper.
edit: blinds went up has like m of 7, big stack who was loose raised I shoved A8s, he had 77 and won. ohh well flip good there and have a shot, maybe next time.

Just have to stay consistent I know I have a little negative variance headed my way after hitting big over other big hands, but just have to keep cool and foldem when I am beat.

Normally I would be looking forward to moving up but I am going to wait till I have over $500 this time maybe introduce one table at a time. ie at $500 have all 12 10nl tables 1 25nl, at 525 add another 25nl. I think that could work out good make a really smooth transition.

Good good session +3 buyins in an hour 13 tabling

Made 3 set over sets(well one I out kicked him) and made a lot of good lay downs with Top pair, I struggle to lay down top pair when my session is going bad and this one started bad, I felt like everyone kept coming over the top of me every flop or turn, but I folded when I thought I was behind and stayed break even. And I was rewarded by some sick hands in the 2nd half of the session.

I hit my first goal of being above $500 again so hell yeah to that.

Going to be busy this week/next week with a take home test, a paper to write, and a test next week so I might just get a little bit in when I can.

I think this is the highest my BR has been since returning to poker. Been beating 10nl over my last 4k hands for 14ptbb/100, running good tho but also playing pretty damn good too I think.

Added my first 25nl table. Made a nice call of a river bluff with TT on pretty non scary board when A high bluffed.

~15 tabling 10nl, so I will just replace one 10nl table with a 25nl table every session until I am playing all 25nl and hopefully by that time I am beating 25nl too.

Have a test wed. and a paper due Monday in Entomology(Insects), have to start working on a take home test for Micro Bio. and start working on a presentation too, and in my stupid ass Sociology class have to start on a group presentation, so I am hoping to play a few hours but doubt I will get to much time to play.

Also non poker stuff that I feel like blogging about:
Need to lose some weight, really only need to lose like 5 lbs, but really want to lose about 30. My mom is switching insurance in a little bit and her and my dad are quiting smoking and I have to get my BMI (a bullshit system) below 30. If we do that I guess we get better rates so that is motivation right there.
I weight 235 now so I am technically obese (ouch my feelings are hurt) at 6'2". But I do want to lose weight for myself and get a little more self confidence about my appearance (not that my self esteem is low but I know I could look better).

Also get my grades up in school, I was a B/C student my freshmen soph. years, and have been slowly improving and this semester I am doing really good and have all As and one C, so my goal is to have a 3.5 this semester which I think I can do.

Bad news, I keep getting stacked at my 25nl table. Well more like I do not think I have hit a flop at 25nl yet, small sample I know. So far KK is -$50 for me. Crazy ass called my raise with 68 and flop came 88X and I didnt think the had it. And had another guy think his flush draw was good on the flop and it was. I mean I coulda folded those two hands but how much of a nit can I be?

Good news, My winrate at 10nl is so sick and by playing more 10nl tables I am breaking even.

This is like my 4th attempt at breaking into 25NL and this happens everytime.

Just have to knock down that door I guess.

Sooo went and played a live 20+5addon 1rebuy tourney at a local card club

Played it once before and know I shouldn't play it because blinds are fucking insane.

So I sit down and fucking old lady with TB on my right who is slow as fuck which is awesome because blinds suck ass.

So starting chips ta 4k with addon, and I got up to about 6k and was happy, then I missed the nut flush draw, and had a guy slow play KK vs my AJ on J jigh board and was down to 1k in chips with 3 minutes till end of first round and blinds were 50/100, going to 100/200 next round. So I get 88 and shove and beat AT, then I get 88 again and shove and get called by 66. So I got 5k chips and am happy.

I got moved around a ton in the 2nd hour, and missed a ton of blinds which is good because they DOUBLE every 20 minutes.
Doubled up off some donk at beginning of 2nd hour AQ vs AT pf.
So I got like 12k in chips blinds at 400/800 omfg, and I get moved to final two tables. Chip leader is a older latino guy I know to be really aggressive but actually decent.
So EP I get KQs, I raise like 2k and aggressive guy calls, flop come KJX, he makes it 2k on flop I shove he calls with TT, I double up.
A few hands later I got 88 he raises in EP, I shove for about 25k
and got him covered by like 1kand he calls with AT+ I forget and I win.

So I dont really play another hand.

Tourney pays 4, final table forms with 10 people, and I think I am chip leader with about 40k and was CARD DEAD. With 6 left I hadn't played a hand and was down to a little over 30k
Break happens and blinds are now 4k/8k and I am 3rd in chips.
Old Bitch Dumb fuck lady limps, I am in BB with J3 and everyone folds and I check. Flop comes JT2. I tank tank and put in the rest she has about 16k left and calls turning over QQ.... fucking whore slut

So now I am short as shit, in SB, I get 55, and shove old lady calls with Kt and I flop quads.

So I manage to survive to 4left, so there are about 160k chips on table, I got like 18k, other shorty has 12k and two big stacks got60k each. I get A9 UTG other shorty posted BB so he has 4k left folds to him and he blind calls and flips over AK lol.

And after that I got knocked out. so spent $25 and won 91 first paid 340, 2nd 220, 3 120, 4th 91.

Happy but disappointed, best hand I had all night was AQo or 88 which I had a few times. no big pocket pair or AK. But I did hit quads.

Guy who ended up winning just won the Heartland poker tour in Greektown for over 100k so I think I deserved to win ya know, what is $300 to him? Dean Hamrick who came in 10th in the ME actually came in 2nd at the HPT greektown.

I really do not want to play live anymore, all live tourneys suck balls in blind structure, and I do not have the money to beat 200nl even though I know I have an edge. Maybe some day or in a few months I can withdraw a big chunk of change but I really need to stay away from live till I can support it.


And does anyone read this? I am not an attention whore but just wondering. I know I am not exciting to read about, just a jackass slightly beating the game and playing within his BR pretty boring stuff IMO. Well it is a small charity poker hall. They are paying dealers $8 an hour. So once the first hour is over they got all the money they are going to get so the blinds go up so fast to get everyone either home or to the cash tables.

GL proz. I'm an old hand a moving up to 25nl and busting out, then regrinding. I think I've found my equilibrium at 25nl now, I'm up a bit and feeling confident. You'll get there. My big break through came when I started looking at HH's after EVERY session. I had big turn/river/big pot leaks. So I created filters for all pots where I commit 40bb's +, all hands smaller than that where I make a turn or river call. Really helped to review them immediately, think about playing them better while I can still remember them.

Dunno if that will help you or not. Just really helped me.

over the last two weeks I am +200 at 10nl @ 19ptbb/100 over ~6k hands
I am -100 at 25nl over 1k hands, averaging -$3 with AA, -$12 with KK and -with QQ as well. Probably overplaying them, but everyone is hitting vs me.

Think I am going to grind 10nl to $600, then deposit on FTP with rake back and deposit bonus of 100% up to $600. And grind there for a bit.

Going to be busy with school too, but hopefully before school break hits I can have the money up on FTP and be able to super grind my winter break and have a really good grasp at $25nl by the end of it.

Sooooo I can say that the switch has gone fantastic so far. I am up $160 with one $20 increment released so far.

My goal is to to clear one $20 of the bonus a day while on break, which I guess equates to about 2.5k hands a day. A lot more than I have ever done but I have a ton of free time and can break it up into multiple sessions.

Right now I am running a lot tighter than I am used to, I guess form jumping into multitabling and getting used to FTP software. running 12/6 ugh, so I will be looking to improve that.

Anyone know anything about clearing a bonus and getting rakeback on FTP? I earned $0.18 in rake back yesterday playing like 1k hands. I knew the rakeback wouldn't be great because I was clearing a bonus but I didn't think it would be that bad lol.

Everything is going good up to a little over $800 in three days fuck yeah.

Cleared $40 of my bonus, it is clearing at about $20 per 2.5k hands.

Everything would be perfect except I have the worst cold of my life, which I feel like is kinda effecting me or maybe it is all the cold medicine I am on. Thought I had nut straight on a AQT board with KQ got all in and guy turned over KJ and I was like ohhhh shit. But w/e it happens.

Hopefully everything will keep up. running about 6ptbb/100 right now which I doubt will last but hopefully it will.

My big issue right now is trying to figure out what to do with a big over pair when a guy puts me to a big raise on the flop and we are both at 100bb or more. I am torn between stacking off and folding.

Also I fucking slow played twice and fucked myself over because of it with big hands. Need to not do that I know better.

Had a AAA flop holding 77, dude slow played all the way to the river and board was AAA99 and I folded and he turned over A4 and I laughed to myself.

I really am tempted to short stack 50nl to clear the bonus faster, but it is more important to be beating 25nl at this point.

Probably will not even consider moving up to 50nl till I have at least $1200, and considerable amount of hands beating 25nl.

Plus I have a shit ton of leaks. Once my cold clears up and I can think a little bit clearer and I get some more hands in I need to be posting mroe in "real" sections and figuring out some stuff.

Right now I get all my money by being a nit and capitalizing on dumb asses. I really need to learn to force people to make mistakes and out play them, right now I just don't suck to much.

Had a boat under boat today pretty gross. had 66 flop was 678 one tone (ewww) he opened and I called because he was really loose pf and I thought he might already have it and was looking to boat up. Haven't played much but when I did I ran bad. I made a few bad decision at the end of yesterdays session out of frustration. Just seemed like I could only hit a set on a monotone board and the turn made 4 to a flush. And I got impatient and was playing two forcefully.

Today Xmas came a little late.

Opened up 15 tables and prepared for another long painful session, but was optimistic and happy from all the awesome food I have been eating.

Session started out good having QQ over TT on a low board and being up $10 within the first few hands. I hate dropping like half a buyin at the start of a session because it makes me play really scared like I am afraid to go more negative. Which is idiotic.

So was playing for about 30 minutes got cold so I grabbed my FTR hoodie and went on one of the better heaters I have been on. I proceeded to flop two pair everytime I had AK-A2 and sets like it wasn't no thang. And people were hitting smaller two pair and or straights and I was making full houses. I could do no wrong, make nuts bet repeat that is fun poker.

So I had my first $100+ online ring game night. Made $127 in an hour, I should have kept playing longer but I am tired and I wanted to end on a good note...

My BR is at $1075 above 1k for the first time EVER. EVER. EVER. boooya.

No I am not busto I just haven't been playing as much.

After one of my bets days ever I had one of my worst days ever dropped like $70. Twice had my two pair drawn out on on the river. AA < 33 pf(I was BB he was SB), and KK < 99 pf.

Things are definitely more of a struggle now then at the start. My Allin graph is slowly creeping back to where it should be so I guess I went from running to the good and am returning to running to even on the back 10k hands.

I am disappointed in not getting enough hands in. I guess it is really easy to play when you are winning by the truckload. But it is a lot harder to sit down and grind out when you are not winning many big pots.

Still have a few days before going back to school, hopefully I can put in a big push and clear a few more increments of the bonus.
