I don't see anything wrong here. Nutsinho says pot, but what hand is folding the flop for $8.50 that won't for $6?

I'm backing off here, folding. As one FTR guy put it, "turn bets usually mean business." Looks like a set or an overplayed 88 - JJ to me, and either one we're way behind.

Turn bets usually mean business yes, but open shoves on the turn are more often weak than strong.

It would depend on how aggressive villain is, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a hand like 56 or 67 open shoving like this. I call turn.

Sounds like a difference in levels. Meeloche plays way above my NL10 level, but open shoves aren't too often weak on the turn in my games. I've called like donkey too many times not to know

yeah there are a lot of 7's he could be doing this with. so many donkeys think that since someone raised there is no way they got a piece of a low board too. call.

i call here really really often ... like 90% of the time or more. id call if the river blanked and he did it too. id probly call an open jam on the flop.

I think you often just have to ask yourself "what does it feel like opponent is trying to get me to do?" .. and if its fold, then call. If its call, then fold.

In this case, its clear that he's trying to get yo to fold something.. so I'd call here.. scratch that.. I think I insta-call here.

Its only when players starting thinking on different levels, that this logic might not necessarily work. Like when players think on the next level, I'm gonna open jam 68 cause it looks so bluffy that he'll call me light, that we might have to start folding in this spot.

I called he had 44. Although this isn't a results oriented post, I have noticed this play quite a bit and I'm calling fairly light and getting killed. I'm guessing just variance, thanks.

potting it is for value and makes shoving turn less awkward. id play this hand as fast as possible because there are a ton of turns that make our hand way less strong if theres considerably more than a psb behind
