#1 cbetting this flop is mandatory. we have the button, noone has shown strength, we might very well be ahead but dont want to see another diamond fall.

#2 call. ppl love to bluff paired flops. except 89 hes drawing slim to 6outs at best, dont turn your hand into a bluff by raising.

#3 raise preflop next time. as played lead flop. as played dont lead/raise turn or river.

Hand 1: I call the turn and try to see a cheap showdown.

Hand 2: I raise to around $9 and call a push.

Hand 3: Raise the flop but after that it's probably how you have to play it.

Well it might depend on the villain, but from those stats I'd say it's fairly likely he could be stacking off with a bare 7 here (because of the small effective stacks). I've seen worse, and quite often too.

If we're 100bb deep then I raise and fold to a 3-bet.

1) c-bet. Raise turn to $8, fold to push
2) raise more pre - especially against maniacs. Makes hands a lot easier. As played, dunno, I guess I fold
3) Bet the flop on this board always!
