well what are your reads on villain. if he is a fish, which from his line it looks like he is, then i actually dont like it, because fish probably wont fold an A or any low 2 pair.

No. This is just terrible because he never folds an ace.

i really hate the way you played this hand.

why didnt you bet the flop? why are you raising the turn?

for one .. this was a good flop for u ... there are tons of cards that will be good for u to double barrel ... a club gives u 2nd nfd, anything higher than an 8 is good, an ace is great ... but now Ace falls and he leads into u, if u had a marginal ace ... anything besides AQ/AK you would just call here like 100% ... so it means you are repping a flopped set i guess? .. .but why would u check a set when u shouldnt expect villain to give u any credit for w/ a c-bet anyways? it doesn't add up ...

villain is obv blocker betting an ace on the river, i think u just got lucky that he wasnt so bad that he couldn't fold.

bet flop. double barrel many turns. triple barrel if u river a flush or hit a king. thats my advice.

Sorry forgot to add, villain is thinking Tagg, we have a bit of history, and i hardly ever bluff like this. 95% of the time, i have the goods here. I probs should have bet the flop yah, but im repping AK with my line here.

im not really sure how many thinking villains are going to give you credit for AK here. it is just such a bizarre line.

id never think u have AK here, I'd expect AK to c-bet 100% of the time, it just looks like u got a little fancy play syndrome and got lucky that villain happened to believe u this time. This is really bad spew so make sure u don't get result oriented and assume it's good cuz it worked this one time.

    Better if i'm deep?

Hmm I don't like it. Of course if villain is weak-tight he might fold a decent amount.

But if you are repping AK this way I think you should c-bet your AK.

Also this I'm not sure about, but I think it's better to call turn if you are planning a move. You have quite some outs and if you think this turn raise in a vacuum is +EV than I think betting all missed rivers when checked to is more +EV, combined with sometimes hitting your outs.

    No hindsight for the blind.
Not better if you're deep imo. You're probably not gonna be valueraising this river very thin at all when deep, so he's gonna say "well he's got a weird set/A7 or a bluff, I'll look him up".
