    Default Hand help please....

Ok so let me know how good or bad this looks please.
    Opponent is 16/2/1.
I have had many pots with him, and he is very willing to fold.
What do you think of the check/raise???
I am a bit of a cbet monkey in his eyes,
and there is a good chance he will float me.
So i thought a c/r would let get him off a decent hand and if he pushes i can fold with confidence that he has the goods.
His call confuses me, but the the second club comes giving me the nut draw.
    Thoughts?????

    I think I check/fold the turn.

Uncreative weak-tight player... he's probably not going to bet behind with TP or a weak overpair. If he does bet behind it's probably a boat.
    Check out my self-deprecation here!

Will he fold easily, or float you on most cbets? Sounds like you are saying both.

Against a weak-tight player, just make a normal cbet. Then, if he calls, on that turn I'd check and call if he gives me good enough odds to draw to the flush (plus you have 2 overs)

I think hes getting sick of me c betting so much and starting to call my bluff with air. Actually im getting a lot of it lately so i have to mix in something different every now and again.
When i say he will fold i mean he will call a bet with a pair and fold on the turn or river. As apposed to most 5NL guys that will show down junk regardless.
Basically what im trying to figure out is how and when to mix in a check raise so i dont become so predictable that even these idiots cxan figure me out.
Ive been told too that i didnt check raise enough, so how much should i raise to?

I have trouble when I feel like this is happening to me as well. When trying to adjust, rather than checkraising I tend to 2 barrel more when I miss and check the turn more when I hit (to look like I'm giving up). The only time I checkraise is when I have a good hand, I'm sure they'll fold if I bet, and pretty sure they'll fire if I check. Maybe I should adjust that...I dunno.

Sounds like all the more reason to 2-barrel more.

I think thats villain dependent, but it IS a very weak bet.

It's either a weak attempt to take the pot, or is a monster and he's trying to drag you in.

I'm hoping to see his hand when he acts this way so I can note what that means when he does it. I don't think most villians here are mixing up their play enough that it could mean both for a specific villain.

I wonder how often flop c/rs from the aggressor is someone getting out of line like this? I've seen this line posted a few times now.
