I wouldn't bet the flop. If you get raised it'll be a tough spot cause playing that draw OOP is not very fun, and if you get called it's the same thing if you miss it on the turn - keep betting or check, and what do you do if he fires behind on the turn?

I think it's better to check the flop and call a not too big bet..

I would probably bet/fold this flop. It is unlikely to have hit him and when your card hits you aren't getting his stack all the time.
