Default Two pair on a hard board to get value.. check through? 2/5

-Villain in this hand is a decent player but I haven't played with him that much
-He runs 22/15/1.8 and have no reason to believe he's a station or anything
-does anyone check behind this river, or am I just nuts to think that I'm not getting value from much worse?

bet it. you are hardly ever not ahead at this point. he can call with worse, the clubs missed, he could have had AcXc or just call you down with some queen.

I bet it, I don't really see what's beating us. AJ? Badly slowplayed KT?

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    ok better question.

I'm assuming we're betting small here so that we can bet/fold?

I obviously bet here even though I kind of had a bad feeling on this board. I bet too much though I think and put myself into a dumb spot.

    River: ($320, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $195, SB raises all-in $494, Hero faces $147.8 call.

Easy fold, even though we're getting sick pot odds?

Looks like villain picked up a 2 pair/set somewhere. I'd probably call and cry when he flips AJ.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

The thing is I had this stronggg feeling of wanting to check through on this river. I don't know if these feelings are in fact +EV though, cause clearly we should put in some kind of value bet here since Ax hands will call.

I think calling this river c/r with my hand is a leak though, cause what worse hand is he EVERRRR c/r'ing with?

Bet an amount that allows him to call with worse and doesn't commit you to calling his shove, especially if you don't think he's capable of shoving as a bluff.

I think your river bet is too large unless somehow you think he'll make loose hero calls against you.

Yep, agreed, the bet is for sure too big. I doubt on this board a small bet will induce some weird c/r bluff, so I think betting smaller is fine.

I think that a smaller bet would induce more c/r bluffs since it would look like you aren't too sure of your hand. But still I agree about the smaller betsize.
