Default K-K on button against 3-bet from taggish small blind.

My opponent ordinarily plays a laggy preflop style with lots of 3-betting, but he seems to have abandoned it recently in favor of a more straightforward style against me; usually folding, rarely 3-betting, and sometimes calling when I raise preflop. He's playing at several of my tables and this is actually the first time he's 3-bet me preflop in over an hour. Postflop he plays aggressively on the flop when he has the lead, but usually plays weak tight on the turn and river. How could I have played these streets differently? Should I 4-bet preflop against this guy with these stacks (I don't know if I can get him to put his money in when he has less than A-A with these stacks given the recent dynamic)? My plan is to value bet around $120 on the river if he called my turn bet.

Usually I've been 4-betting here pre-flop because so many worse hands are giving absurd amounts of action. It's a really easy line to balance with 4-bet bluffs too and puts the TAggs on tilt.

As played, I'd check the turn behind for pot control because we're so deep. With only 100bbish stacks I would bet and felt this though.

Ordinarily I would, but lately this guy has turned into a nit against me preflop, so I don't think I can get a lot of action from hands worse than two kings by reraising.

Over how many hands and how often do you play against him?

The way these games have been playing, I find it very hard to believe that he'd only felt AA in this spot and may have just been looking for like JJ+/AK/AQs (or maybe worse) to give you action. Then again dropping 250bb would really sting. I think this is one of those hands that you can't look at in a vacum, particularly if you play together a lot as it impacts the future blind war dynamics between you. Even if you blow him off his hand, him thinking he can't 3-bet you light or needs to push AQ against you could be very +++EV.

If it was me and I called the flop, I'd check the turn, call a non-Ace river and then rathole my stack if I win the hand.
