havent got in any spots with this dude before, he seems like a pretty straight forward newb. runs about 50/15/3. MP was super tight and this dude was just calling everything pre, so i squeezed. I have been 3betting and squeezing the shit outta these guys. whats my plan for this spot?

Not super crazy about the squeez, knowing that the newb is calling most everything pre. A C-Bet is very likely called by any J or Q, but I probably do it anyways. Have you seen him Check-Raise anything yet?

I like $60 on the flop for a C-bet (sets up about a pot-size push), Check behind turn to get your free card, Ace on the river. PROFIT!

Any idea how often he gives up to the c-bet? Board connects with what I'd guess is his range reasonably well - it wouldn't be awful to take a free card and see if your draw gets there, or another spade comes along, or just if he'll check it twice and let you take it down on the turn. Then again, if he folds to c-bets a lot, why not just bet now? He's so bad and loose (based on his stats alone) that I think it can't be terrible to c-bet him on almost all boards with little fear of serious blowback, and a pretty high expectation of folding out his crap hands a lot.

I guess I'm making an argument for like a $50 bet. I don't think checking behind is bad though. If you bet and get called, I'd plan to value bet the turn when you get there and check behind when you don't.

I like the 3bet pre. Calling is definitely EV- in comparison if the PF leader here folds a lot and CO calls a lot.

If you've been squeezing a lot though and they've been folding a lot, I think this is a great spot to take a free card. So many hand combos from a fish want to continue on this flop.

This is just one of those gameflow things... do you think he's ready to play back at you? would he even, or would he only play with a hand and c/c hoping you make all the bets? Gameflow wise with lots of squeezes happening I like to check the flop sometimes when I've been putting so much pressure, often it's with a made hand or a weak draw, pretty much never air

ok, well I guess there's two options.

1. b/c a shove. cause if he shoves over a $55-$65 cbet i would be getting even money odds agaisnt his shoving range of AsTs+, QJ, KQ, AQ, JJ, QQ. And I might fold out his Ax gutshot range, and all pairs XX-TT.

2. check flop and bet all non T (maybe K) turns if checked to.

and its prbly read based which one i choose to do.

If you bet 42 he can't really shove over, he'll most likely give you odds to call with a raise. If he just flats he's almost always weak and you can bet him off the hand on the turn.

The pot is pretty big here. Probably I would check unless the guy folds a lot to c-bets and his range is pretty wide. If you check and an ace hits, you could be getting action if he does hold an ace.
