Another year, another head coach, another 7-5 season is upon us.

I'm excited to see a new offensive system though

Bet with Gator. Basically giving him +2.5 spots in final rankings vs OSU.

Well...Cant really say anything positive after that performance.

I kinda feel bad for Beamer...He isnt going to sleep much over the next few days... Im sure the words "Are you still redshirting Tyrod" will echo in his skull since that question will be asked about 20 times after yesterday's game.

Tough loss, but remember this is an OOC game and doesnt impact VT's chance at making a BCS bowl.

    Worst Michigan team in years..lol.

Its gonna be weird to watch them play a spread offence.

yea, I can't believe he made the field goal to send the game into overtime then missed a shorter gimme to extend it to the next overtime.

The last 5 minutes of that game was awesome.

I need someone to explain something to me

I'm watching Notre Dame vs SDSU and SD almost scores, guy fumbles on the goal line, I thought the ball crossed but that's not the point, the official ruling is the ball never crossed the plane.

Why then did Notre Dame get the ball on the 20 yd line, the ball never went across the goal line yet they awarded the Irish a touchback, no one even mentioned this as they were so focused on whether or not it was a TD.

Anyways, been eating at me all night.

yea, winning 52-7 against a BCS opponent on the road isn't as impressive as winning 45-21 at home against a non Div 1A opponent.

Ok, I edited that part out.lol. Still doesnt matter, USC will move back down, they are overrated IMO.

But let's talk about how dominant the SEC is. 4 out of the current top 10 are SEC teams.

nope, watched OSU vs OU, Florida vs the U, and bits and pieces and highlights of some other games.

Speaking of Ohio State, today was embarrassing. Now I think the big ten gets a bad rap partially because The Big 10 is put at a pretty severe disadvantage during bowl season (they end their season a couple weeks earlier-- longer layoff, travel south/west/southwest-- always extreme road games, and cold weather-- difficulty practicing during said bowl season, among others). blah blah blah

Overriding point is that I really thought we'd play USC tough, possibly win next week. After watching Ohio State's first-team O-line get NO PUSH against an average MAC team, and realizing the recievers forgot how to get separation or catch, and the QB forgot how to throw, and our all-world tailback might have lingering effects from an injury, I've come to the conclusion that Ohio State is likely to get handled next week.

I've seen some really crazy turnarounds in quality of play from week to week in college and pro football though, so I'm not totally in gloom 'n doom mode yet.
  45. #45
I mean I don't even care, it just happened to happen during a commercial in the A&M game, but now I just cant forget it

Also, OSU, UF, and Notre Dame all had pathetic showings, final scores in CFB can be so misleading.

For some reason this came out in Charles Barkley's voice.

ECU has run over huge teams in 2 of those conferences. FUCKING ECU!! WTF!!

Anyone else think they'll be undefeated this year?

Michigan losing to teams like App State last year and Utah this year is definitely hurting the Big Ten's rep.

To make it perfectly clear, I'm not complaining.
