Default QJs 3bet pot + riv shove

opp runs 34/24. steals alot and was never 3bet b4 based on small sample.

Preflop is range is quite wide, i took time before i decided to initially c/f this flop but since he checks back i put him on a draw, gutshot w/pair stuff like that.

Turn is an obv scare card, i think i should of bet a bit bigger to set up a river shove tho. Once he calls turn i figure he is still on that wide flop range so i shove river to move him off. good?

Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

I think what he's getting at is, you hit a miracle straight, and you'd prefer that he call with everything. The idea of trying to move him off any hand is a head-scratcher.

This reminds me of a hand last week. I flop middle pair and I am convinced that I have trips so I raise flop and c/shove turn and after I lose to the guys tp it took me a good minute or two to figure out that I didn't have trips.

Reminds of one of my favorite near-misses from a live game... I was playing in a two table tourney at a friend's house, pretty early in the evening but the blinds were starting to breathe down my neck a little. This TAgg type raised and I called with 66. The flop was 66A - and I was thinking "oh hell yes!" I checked, he bet, I called. The turn was a queen and I checked again, and he made a pot-committing-sized bet. I was gearing up for the all-in check/raise but I wanted to Hollywood a little bit, so I hesitated, "thought it over," etc. Just before the raise I fake-glanced at my cards... then I ACTUALLY glanced at my cards, and realized my pocket sixes were actually pocket fives. Which I quickly and quietly mucked.

    Close call!
