    Hero ???

    villain was 52/26/1
I tried to set up the betting for a river push, but the river card was very bad.
The board is so scary by the river that I don't think that a push would be called by worst. Plus villain was pretty passive so the push needs to mean at least 2pair.
Maybe b/f about $30 would be the best, no?
As played, I suppose this is a fold, right?

    Your bet sizing sucks.

Get the money in faster against too loose players because they can't call on a long-shot draw on the river.

Do mean potting the flop and pushing turn?
That line would be very strong ... and a loose player would fold worst often, no? By allowing a river push with less then the pot size I would invite him to call with a lot worse, I think.

You just said he's a station, don't worry about sizing your bets to what he will call. If he has a piece or gushot, he will call. If a turn push is too big of an overbet, then don't push but still bet large.

More pre-flop sets up even more on the flop + turn.

I thought the flop + turn were a bb or two off but I don't hate going even bigger against this guy.

Going small on the cheap streets spills over to a tough hand when all the cards are out.

sucks that you probably lost this, but get your money in sooner so the river isn't such a tough decision

I see what you mean now!
    I don't even know why I 3bet 3x Pre only.
That actually is normally my strat when I play FR but I don't know why 6max I seem to not have enough time to think things through.
I think I'm going back to FR for a while, I don't think I'm ready for 6max just yet.

    Yup, I agree.
    Actually, I folded! (yup I'm a nit)
So many hands where in front with such bad odds (2.3 - 1), villain being very passive and the fact that he insta-bet, I didn't thought it was worth a call.
