    Thanks

    1. Is this an easy fold I put him on Ax the whole way. I had no stats on him at the time.

Hand 1: Put Villain on a range. Decide what portion of that range you beat. Calculate your pot odds. Decide if your pot odds dictate that you can call against that range.

    Hand 2: Raise preflop.

Hand 3: Raise preflop. Raise flop.

Realize that it's not in my best interest to say what I'm about to say, which is why you should take it to heart. My suggestion for you is to move down to 5nl or 10nl and develop a good basic game because right now you are lacking one. Best of luck.

Hands 2 and 3 are so weak preflop it hurts.

    My advice is

Move down to 25nl and play fullstacked if you aren't comfortable playing fullstacked at 50nl. If not then REBUY PREFLOP.

1 - pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase tell me you folded.

    2. RAISE PREFLOP. As played, it's ok I guess. Reads would help...

    3. RAISE PREFLOP as played seriously raise the flop it's so drawy.

Thanks guys! I am here to learn and get better. I have logged over 80K hands at 25nL. I am only earning about 2ptbb/100 at the moment because I am coming off a nasty downswing followed by 35k hands of break even poker. Before that I was at 5ptbb/100. I moved up to 50 nL and 100 nL while I was running hot but then moved back to 25 NL when the down swing hit. I am now back at 50 nL as my variance seems to be shifting. My biggest weakness is playing to passive. I was at 28/4 for the first 60k hands and since I have been trying to tighten up and play more aggresively when in position. I have gotten to 25/6 but it will take more hands to move these numbers further. I will try to see what my stats are for the last 20k hands. Spoon does this sound like the first steps to achieving a "good basic game"? I have no problem moving down and playing full stack at 25nL My BR at the moment is 1300$. Again thanks for any suggestions. It is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I called the first hand and he flipped AK for the boat. That was out of the range I put him on because there was no reraise preflop. I was playing on my lap top at the time which doesnt have PT on it and I think it cost me. If he had nit stats I brobably would have folded.

do you realize that 25/6 isnt even remotely close to conventional winning preflop stats?
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

The point I was trying to make (obviously poorly) is that when you have 70k hands playing at 29/4 then decide to do some reading and pull your head out of your ass and start playing better poker it will take time to get your stats for all hands played to look more respectable. The 26/6 is for all hands and represents averaging down. The last 10k hands I have run at 18/11 which I think is starting to approach something more respectable. But your input is still appreciated and I will try to be more specific in the future as I plan on posting more hands both good and embarrassing in the hopes of becoming better.
