im actually thinking that wesley may be right about canadia having everything US has without all BS

except that no where in canada is there good hot weather. some of the county's gotta have very beautiful vegetation and landscape though, like washington state.

This is where I live: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelowna#Climate

It's know as the California of Canada. Some of the worlds best wines get made here. It never rains. Winters are cold but not windy so you don't feel it at all. It gets nice and snowy here and never gets iced up by rain because we don't get rain. The summers are very hot but very bearable since the humidity is very low.

Ya its like Cali without all the murder.

FWIW its 72 here today and is supposed to be close to 80 tomorrow.

i assume the water is cold tho.

rabbit trail: im eventually moving away from western washington (vegetation is so nice here tho, and we have some amazing rivers), but i just cant stand coldness.

its somewhat ironic. i love sunny hotness more than anything yet i got that ginger skin that develops blisters and melanoma after two seconds under high noon. sometimes i wish i was black. if i have kids there's a good possibility they will be with a dark-skinned chick so my kids wont have to be afraid of the sun

Pretty sure Vancouver has a better climate than kelowna. Especially if you don't like snow. Can you play golf all year round in kelowna?

cause in vancouver I can play golf then go snowboarding in the same day...

Thinking of a move to BC. It's definitely a 30% possibility at the moment to happen in a year or two.

Depends on what you mean by better climate. I think what the majority would consider a better climate, Kelowna wins hands down. It's winters are much more bearable due to no rain/dryness. If you're cool with the icey/slushiness in the winter so you can still golf, then I guess Van would be your place of choice.

Also, your disliking of snow likely comes from the way it turns out down there since it generally rains quickly after it snows. Which results in very shitty roads and ice everywhere which isn't cool. Out here when it snows, it's nice and fluffy fresh snow every day. Which I happen to like.
