Shove to this flop 3bet? 100NL

Villain has been raising BU about 85% of the time and cbetting close to that amount of time too. I've checked raise a few times, his called my flop C/R once so far and folded rest. This is the first time a C/R by me has been raised on any street. Villain probably sees me a little on the passive side rather than agro maniac, so I don't see him 3betting here without a real hand. If I'm beat, do I go broke here everytime?

I feel like this has to be a fold. There is no way he is taking this line with a bare club and I highly doubt he would play AxKc this way. The only thing you accomplish by putting any more bets in on this flop is hand protection which is unnecessary because people aren't bluffing often in this situation. I guess you could also flat and call down but I lean towards folding.

So the way the action has been, the only thing i'm really beating is a bluff or Ax n high club? What kinda hand should I put him on?

In HU, flopping top n bottom two pair n folding even on this board, is it considered a big laydown or standard? still kinda new to HU

It's all player dependent. I wouldn't say it's a standard fold but if you feel like your opponent isn't super aggressive, and somewhat solid your hand on this board is not strong enough to get it in. I would say his range is A2,A6,22,66,AA,XcXc, and sometimes AxKc (assuming he is not a spew tard).

Also the lowest Ax os you should be calling a preflop raise with oop is A8. You will find your self getting into much less of these situations by doing so.

I was really curious to see if I coolered him (again not sure about heads up play, regular game its easier to let go) or was there something diff he could've done. I didn't know what I would've done in his place and wasn't sure what the correct play might have been so was really curious. I think I wudda went broke there as well, but will definitely re-evaluate my play after reading ur responses.

If you had just sat down at this table and this hand went down i'd say the person with A2 should stack off. Since you have a few more reads kapila is probably right and this is a fold. This is one of the things you have to adjust to with hu because 1) he has like every suited club in his range 2) these aren't boards .5/1 players are playing back at 3) run it.
