Default 100nl deep, flop double gutshot, hit on turn

villain is dis astro - wannabe laggy 25-13, 3-bets 4%, doesn't fold to c-bets enough (big leak), bets a LOT of turns (Turn Aggression frequency 44%).

This board is safe for me, as long as the river doesn't pair. His range is complicated given pre-flop sb limp - i think his range is weak, doesn't 3-bet if i re-raise this turn unless he has a set, probably folds 34...

we;re deep and i want the chance to play for stacks
Thoughts on how best to achieve this? Also comments on my flop play please!

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

If we weren't so deep I would say just call on this rainbow board repping an ace calling down. But I don't see a reasonable way to get AI on the river if we don't raise the turn. $40 is good. I might raise more (~$49-$52) just because I think he has a very strong hand here, I think this is at least aces up and probably a set, and I want to induce a shove/be able to bet more on the river.

    been thinking about this.

Calling a check-raise, then raising the check-raise c-bet is an incredibly strong line to be taking

Feels as though if I'm going to raise then I should be raising fake scared (like to $26-$30) or huge. Raising to $50 suggests set+++ and this guy may be kinda bad, but he's not THAT stupid.

Def raise but as you say he's probably going to think you're not balancing a large raise with bluffs. I'd say $30-$35 is probably better than $40 and if he 3bet we can dance.

When I raise $50 I have a wider range than when I raise less, because raising less means that I'm not worried about any draws he might have. I don't make weak raises often, but if you do this might be a more profitable play.
