    Default KT played passively

My main read on SB is that he was raising a lot of pots pre-flop, c-betting the flop, then giving up (checking it down from there and folding to any bet). This was consistent enough that I figured that the same thing was happening on this hand.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    BB ($99)
    UTG ($115.55)
    UTG+1 ($19)
    MP1 ($18.75)
    Hero (MP2) ($50)
    MP3 ($39.60)
    CO ($48.25)
    Button ($11.10)
    SB ($24.85)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, 10
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50, 2 folds, Button calls $0.50, SB raises to $2, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.50, Button calls $1.50

    Flop: ($7) 8, 4, K (3 players)
SB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 1 fold

I assume he's c-betting and will give it up on the turn if he has nothing. I call for value, but feel uneasy about this play, especially because there is still someone behind me. Does SB's somewhat short stack affect this decision?

    Turn: ($14) A (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

I thought about betting here, but I decided checking was better for a couple reasons. If he has nothing (which I think is often the case based on his play so far), he'll fold here, but might call a bet on the river. And also if he happens to be beating me, I probably save money by checking here. Of course this is counterbalanced by the fact that if a 3rd flush card comes it might kill a bet that he otherwise may have called. And this in turn is somewhat counterbalanced by the fact that a 3rd flush card actually gives me nut flush and if he also happens to have something at that point I may win a big bet. Is my logic correct here?

    River: ($14) 10 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7 ...

Either fold or iso raise preflop to 4.5xbb depending on utg+1s tendencies. As played flop is fine, as is turn, id also bet a little more on river, like $12 hopin he cant fold his king or maybe his ax that he stabbed at the pot with on the flop.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.
