Default 100NL - Couple Hands from Session Earlier

    Hand 1
Villain is a multitabling reg. He's running 19/15/2.7 over around 400 hands.

    $0.5/$1 No Limit Holdem

    Stacks:
    UTG JINO9 ($41.75)
    CO hfw7969 ($27.30)
    BTN gregy20723 ($100.55)
    SB Hero ($115.45)
    BB IanBarns ($100.00)

    Pre-flop: ($1.50, 5 players) Hero is SB
JINO9 calls $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.50, IanBarns checks

    Flop: ($3, 3 players)
Hero bets $2, IanBarns raises to $8, JINO9 folds, Hero calls $6

    Turn: ($19, 2 players)

    River: ($45, 2 players)
Hero checks, IanBarns bets $35, Hero calls $35

    Final Pot: $115

    Hand 2
Villain is 21/19 with an 8% 3b. This should be an easy fold preflop yes? If I call preflop, is flop standard, and fold turn? Also, if this villain is continually 3betting in situations such as this, what should I be looking to do to exploit him? Calling IP with more Broadway hands?

    Hand 3
Same villain from hand 1. I haven't seen him donk lead before, so I'm a little unsure what this means from him.. I really think he has TT here very often, and don't see mcuh else he would be doing this with. Relatively standard hand, yes? Do we still fold to a 1/2 PSB or so on the river?

    Hand 4
[b]Villain here is unknown. I believe this is pretty standard. Kinda wondering on the flop check, and if we are intending to call a jam over on the river. Also what's our play if he bets the turn?

Default Re: 100NL - Couple Hands from Session Earlier

Hand 1: nh. But I would be tempted to raise somewhere ...
Hand 2: Vs 8% 3bettors, I would 4bet bluff more often. and if they 4bet around 4% I start to 4bet call shove with TT+,AK. Without more history I fold turn.
Hand 3: With some draws on the FLOP I would be tempted to call (if he showed a missed FD on hand 1), but here, I fold.
Hand 4: If you don't c-bet AK/AQ here, then check/calling with AJo is OK. If he bets turn, I fold. His line seems really AK, so river bet is good.

Most of the regs at 100NL just don't bluff nearly enough (other than 3betting preflop and betting the flop) and they have absurdly unbalanced ranges so you can exploit them by making some huge folds. Hand 3 is a good example, his range here is so strong it's unhealthy and you can probably fold the flop unless you have top two or a set.

    1. River is probably close to a fold but I guess I'd call?
    2. Fold every street as played.
    4. I'm tempted to check-shove the river if you've seen him value bet thin before, just because of how strong your hand looks if you donk the river like this.

    1. fold river
    2. fold preflop and fold flop (agree with mcat)
    3. fold flop (agree w/ mcat)
    4. agree with mcat
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    1. I probably call reluctantly, but if you think about it, we have to put him on 8x with x any card since he's the BB, and you're a dog to the 8x range, esp if we weigh it to the ones that just keep betting relentlessly.
    2. tbh I call preflop aswell, and fold the flop because it's just guesswork and the board is gonna get worse. Which means it's a pretty spewy call.
    3. I would play it like you did but I like mcatdog's explanation a lot here.
    4. I'd never squeeze with AJo but apart from that I play it (again) the same.. not sure why we look ridic strong on the river though - because the board just got scarier and scarier (for a 3bet pot range) and we still decide to lead out?

Why do we look so strong by donking the river? villain played the hand very timid, for me his hands looks like AK a lot ...
