    Default 50nl AKo line question

Main villain in this hand is one of the very few good players at this level from what I can tell. He also plays higher limits. He is fairly aggressive preflop. He plays well post flop, but not overly aggro and pretty straightforward.

    Bodog BB is $.50

    Hero is CO ($50)
    Villain is SB ($83)

    Preflop: Hero is dealt
UTG raises to $1.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.75, 1 fold, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.25, UTG calls $2.50

    Flop ($15):
3 checks, Hero bets $8, SB calls, 2 folds

    Turn ($31):
    SB checks, Hero...

With this action villain can only realistically have AK, 44, or 99 with AQ and AA both being possible but less likely. He will virtually never float this flop to bluff later. So at this point what is the best plan for turn & river??

    a) bet/fold turn, planning to fold to any river bet if called
    b) check behind and fold to a river bet
    c) check behind and call reasonable river bets

i like option c. i would put him on a weaker ace. i dont see how this obviously good player puts you on less than aces, so his call on the flop wouldnt make sense unless he had an ace. maybe a6/a4/a9, and he's going for a c/r? or a hand like aq/aj/a10, maybe a8s or a7s. i think you have to pay him off on the river.

bet 3 streets or check behind turn and possibly raise (never fold) river

bigger flop bet, then i like checking turn for value

also what SB does will normally tell us what we should do

    i.e. his timing, sizing

If your read is that SB is a good player, then this hand is weird.

He cold called your 3bet preflop, so I feel like I'd like to narrow his range to JJ+, AQ and AK sometimes. I doubt 44 calls here if he's good and maybe sometimes he has 99 but that should be discounted too. Its not even deep.

Given that you bet this flop into so many ppl, I'd say that he would probably even find a fold with QQ/KK here if thats what he had.

I feel like he has AQ,AK,AA here a big percentage of the time. I'd bet each street here trying to value town AQ, $14 turn and shove riv. If I get raised... I might throw up.
