    pretty lame

i wonder if u just should have checked flop

Checking this flop is decent, given that we have a spade.

As played I call and I'd imagine c/c any turn for now.

ian barns is a massive multitabler for a 6maxer (18+ tables) and atleast used to be fairly uncreative postflop. that being said idk wtf to do here. every option seems bad. i would probably call and c/f alot of turns. i think he has AA/KK here with the As/Ks a decent amount of the time also depending on his view of the SB.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Small blind was kinda fishy. If we call and spike a spade, insta stack off?

I don't really understand this whole call and c/f turns line.

If we call because we think we're ahead, then we put him on a draw and likely the Asx, Ksx. In which case we should c/c blank turns.

If we call because we think we have good equity but are behind, then we c/c any spade turn.

So I kind of agree with Renton in the sense of wanting to fold right now. But if we don't fold right now, I feel like we should go with it.
Pot will be 150ish with only 110ish behind.

I could be wrong, but my feeling is that most players at this level will check behind with a hand like AsKx (would he even raise this on the flop?) instead of semi bluffing a stack into the middle. So I guess I'm also advocating call and fold turn, even though I dislike it. Folding the flop can't be bad without better reads. I'd be really uncomfortable calling off my stack here.

I played with Ianbarns like a year back and I think he has like massive flop aggression then just plays str8fwd/4 value on later streets.

So I probably check call flop.
This deep as played I probably fold, all the sets are in his range too considering how deep you are and that he thought sb might come along as well.
Currently thinking of a new quote/signature... Some sort of prayer to the Poker gods for enlightment etc..

griffey i 100% agree, but i think to assume that he roboshoves the same range on the turn as on the flop is a bit absurd

tbh, call and c/f is a totally level one line, i basically felt like folding flop was gross, but i also knew that getting stacked with this hand would be perhaps even more gross.

I would have 1000% checked the flop a) because i 3-bet huge amounts oop and have to check this flop with a ton of my range anyways and b) because i want to avoid this situation. I don't really care if betting shows a greater profit tbh.

the only lines after he raises are shove or fold. I'd prob fold vs IanB
