    Default 2 50NL hands

    1. Villain is unknown but over the small sample he seems to have regularish stats playing 20/20 with folding to the only 3bet prior in his 60ish hands. I don't really see any value by betting no the turn and it seems like he'll be raising even AK which makes me suck at life.
    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG ($66.85)
    MP ($56.45)
    Button ($54.15)
    Hero (SB) ($51.60)
    BB ($41.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, K
2 folds, Button raises to $1.75, Hero raises to $6, 1 fold, Button calls $4.25

    Flop: ($12.50) J, 10, 7 (2 players)
    Hero checks, Button checks

    Turn: ($12.50) A (2 players)
Hero bets $7, Button raises to $22.50, Hero folds

    Total pot: $26.50 | Rake: $1.30

    2. Villain is an unknown and I still have no idea how to get value in these situations. Fuck it I'm guessing bet a shitload bigger on the turn but should I ever bet the flop vs. an unknown?

Hand 1: Played fine imo, maybe bet some more on the turn.

Hand 2: I'd bet the flop. If he's limp calling, he's probably bad enough to call with his A4s or underpairs, I've even seen them call with like 56s or AJc or something.
Once flop checked, bet the turn bigger yeah. I'm folding now, you have no clue if you're ever ahead here against this player and he can have lots of hands that beat yours.

I think these are the folds that will make you money.

I would have bet flop in both spots.

#1, if you haven't been 3betting him much at all and he does decide to call, you have to really assume he's doing it for set value most of the time. I mean, it's not like you have a reason to believe he's calling the 3bet w/ the intention of messing with you whether he hits or miss. Your range should appear strong in his eyes and this flop sucks for pairs. If he does happen to peel one you have 10 likely outs, plus he's more likely to c/b the turn which will give you another free card often.

By the time you make your A on the turn you can just bet/call it off and not have to worry about being bluff raised or semi-bluff raised.

#2, definitely definitely bet the flop. He's limp calling, he has so many weird random hands in his range. Besides, when you are OOP, you've got to bet to define your hand. If you don't do so, it forces you into precarious situations like the one you are now in on the turn--he's raising and you have no idea what it's with. If you bet the flop and are called, it doesn't at all mean he's holding a king, there's a ton of value in betting here.
